Our Impact
Financially Assisted Places
Thanks to the generosity of donors, 74 students attend Sevenoaks School on financially assisted places.
We are committed to ensuring that equity, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our culture and community. Our ambition is to significantly increase the number of students receiving financial assistance, to one in three students, through donor support ranging from small, regular monthly donations to legacies.
Changing lives
Receiving a Sevenoaks education has put my whole life into perspective. I cried when my mum told me the school had offered us a 95% financially assisted place.
During my time at Sevenoaks I learnt empathy and humility and so many other practical skills, that will change my life, on top of the exceptional education I’ve received. I am eternally grateful and, whatever I do in the future, I know that it wouldn’t have been possible without my time here. (Ana Sofia, OS 2024)
Sevenoaks prepared me well for university and work; I was taught how to study in a disciplined, methodical way and with a high level of academic rigour. From the beginning, students are given responsibility and treated with respect, and they leave with knowledge and maturity that sets them up for life.
I’m an industrial designer and co-founded a design agency, and feel proud to have received a bursary. I thoroughly enjoyed school, which I realise is a privilege. I hope someday to fund a place at Sevenoaks and give someone the same experience. (Billy, OS 2017)
