If you are a European resident, you may be able to maximise your gift through Transnational Giving Europe (TGE).
This is a collaborative giving scheme offered by a partnership of European foundations. It enables donors (both corporations and individuals) who are resident in one of the participating countries to offer financial support to non-profit organisations in other member countries. Beneficiaries benefit directly from the tax advantages provided for in the legislation of their country of residence.
Country-specific contact details for the scheme are available on the TGE website, below. The Sevenoaks School Foundation is currently able to receive donations from TGE partners in Germany and Italy. This can be expanded to other countries in the TGE network on request.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR DONATION
Contact the relevant TGE partner organisation in your country. The organisation will give you details on how to give and will transfer the donation to us, minus a fee.
In February of the year following the donation, or sooner if you request it, you will receive a donation certificate which will allow you to benefit from any tax deduction allowed under the laws of your country.
