Our exceptional education is the enduring legacy of William Sevenoke and many benefactors over six centuries.

William Sevenoke’s founding vision was for children from all backgrounds to receive an education. True to his intention, we continue to give young people from diverse backgrounds access to education and to equip them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to pursue their passions in life and make a better world.

Transforming life opportunities

Unlike many schools, Sevenoaks School does not have an historical endowment income. We have relied on the generosity of individuals who share our vision and have committed to helping us achieve our goals. We invite and welcome the support of Old Sennockians, parents, staff and friends to continue this tradition through gifts in wills.

Over the coming decade, the Sevenoaks School Foundation aims to establish an endowment fund to ensure students will continue to have open access to an exceptional education based on their academic merit and irrespective of their family’s ability to pay school fees. 

Many people think that a legacy should be a large sum of money. In reality, leaving just a small percentage of your estate can, and will, make a very real difference. If you leave 10 per cent or more, you can reduce the inheritance tax on the rest of your estate. No matter how big or small, every gift in a will can make a lasting impact. Together, we can transform the life opportunities of young people in perpetuity.
