Our Impact
Financially Assisted Places
Thanks to the generosity of donors, 80 talented students are at Sevenoaks School on financially assisted places.
We are committed to ensuring that equity, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our culture and community. Our ambition is to significantly increase the number of students receiving financial assistance to one in three students.
Donor support has come in all forms: from small, regular monthly donations to a single legacy.
HEAR FROM OUR ALUMNI
When I left Sevenoaks, I was well-prepared for university and work. The school taught us how to study in a disciplined, methodical way, and the high level of academic rigour made for an easy transition to university. From the beginning, students at Sevenoaks were given responsibility, and treated with a sense of trust and respect.
I’m now an industrial designer and co-founder of a design agency. We’ve worked on medical, robotics, space, drone and agri-tech projects, amongst others. I feel proud to have received a bursary and grateful for the opportunity given to me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at school, something which I realise is a rare privilege. I hope someday to be in the position to fund a place at Sevenoaks School and give someone else the same experience.
To anyone considering supporting financially assisted places, your donation gives a rich, exciting and well-rounded education to children who wouldn’t otherwise have access to it. Students leave Sevenoaks with a self-assuredness, knowledge and maturity that sets them up for the rest of their lives. Billy (OS 2017)
